Ali Tareen (UK) uses visual language to convey taboo, challenging, and difficult issues in our society that questions the human condition. Tareen's work is often confrontational, leaving the viewer to cross-examine their pre-existing beliefs and perception. This is manifested with his use of intricate, but fragile contour, along with minimal colour and form. His aim is to expose the unconsciousness that often gets overwhelmed with everyday life. His work often communicates hidden layers of metaphors for the viewer to unravel and interpret.
He studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, graduating with a First Class Certificate. Since then he has exhibited in numerous countries such as; the UK, Czech Republic, and Spain. His works are in private collections across, the UK, Europe, The USA, and Australia.
Ali Tareen lives and works in London, UK.
