There is no divinity here
The temple walls barren, cracked
Athena stands weeping
Medusa holds her back
The echoes of the wailing
Fill the collapsing walls
A grave and mortal failing
Has come to gather all
What was once pure and secret
Stolen, in dark of night
No answers from above
No repentance can make it right
Watch the women stand weeping
Clutching and clawing their chests
Anything to shed the remains
Of the trauma they were left
No amount of scalding water
Nor equal amount of tears
Can ever repair the damage done
Or take away the fear
