Do you even know who I am?
How do you not see that this is a scam?
The pure sight of me will make you sweat!
Because I am intelligent, powerful, a threat.
If you could see my boredom as you talk.
Boy, you better pick up your cup and walk.
What you see is nothing but a facade.
What you see, my girlish charade.
I wear my heels high and thin.
I catch your eyes, you won’t see my grin.
Don’t be smart with me, I can take lives.
As I walk around on the sharpest of knifes.
I still pretend to laugh at every little joke.
But I know that it’s all just mirrors and smoke.
The time you spend near me is life on a loan.
One day I’ll sink my fangs all the way to your bone.
Behind this fragile look I’m not pleasant, but a natural charmer.
Eventually you’ll notice that I use this as my armor.
If you try and touch it I promise I’ll lose control.
A side of me will be shown that you will not extol.
I’m not just an empty shell with a paralyzing past.
There is a reason for why I turn my head away so fast.
Its to spare you from the fire of my piercing gaze.
If I stare any longer I will see your bones ablaze.
I am not the pretty girl that you see.
I am the one who will bring you to your knee.
Like the fury I am, I will curse your mind.
Like the werewolves of the forest, I will not be kind.
And just like the phoenix, my life is riddled with death.
The only thing I’d want from you is your dying breath.
