Jacquelyn Kozak (she/her) is a New Jersey-based creative with a B.A. in English from Fordham University where she also studied visual arts with a focus in photography. Her work has appeared on Alternating Current Press and in Fordham University's The Ampersand. She was also a semifinalist for the 2017 Luminaire Award for Best Poetry. She's been working with Persephone's Daughters since the magazine's inception in 2015, first as a poetry reader and most recently as a poetry editor and art evaluator. Currently, she works as a Creative Coordinator for a worldwide photo company and is a freelance music photojournalist for several women-led independent publications.
