Michael Olusegun Osheku is a Nigerian filmmaker, who is passionate about story telling. Michael began his filmmaking journey as an undergraduate student at the university of Lagos, Nigeria. He studied Scriptwriting at Pefti film Institute, Lagos, Nigeria, and did several other courses in Music, filmmaking and business and got certificate from these reputable Institution, Chicago institute of business; James cook university, Australia; RMT University, Australia; International Nero-Linguistic Training, UK; Berkley school of Music Uk; National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield Uk. In 2012, He founded Oshmil House Company, a creative and production company, where he has produced series of Tv commercials,corporate video,music video, events video and a short film. The Girl Child is Michael’s debut short film,“Michael said he wants to make film that will make him” and he wants to be known for what he knows best, Michael dares to be one of the best filmmaker ever come out of Africa.
